Pastor Ed Pohlreich started attending Generational Hope Christian Center as a boy, his life has been full of family and adventure. He grew up in a family of ten, and then God blessed him with his beautiful wife, Marcy, and five wonderful children; Justin, Jordan, Jessica, Jasmine and Jannesa.
Pastor Ed and Marcy met at Seattle Bible College. They were married in 1988 and together they served as Youth Pastors, Young Adult Pastors, and Associate Pastors at Generational Hope Christian Center until God called their family to Uganda, Africa. While in Africa, they served alongside Ron DeVore for over four years and planted churches established primary schools, and started a thriving bible college in Kampala, Uganda. They also helped develop orphanage sponsorship programs in Uganda and medical ministries in South Sudan.
In 2003, God called the Pohlreich family back to the United States to serve in their current position as Senior Pastor of GHCC. More than anything, Pastor Ed loves his family and the community God placed him in. Pastor Ed is passionate about the vision of the house to stand and fight for the next generation. It is a cause worth fighting for, a Faith, a Hope and a Truth worth passing on to the next generation.
