Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Regional Missions Director for Sudan
- Represent World Outreach Ministry Foundation’s Mission Activities in Sudan
- Provide oversight to all current mission interest of WOMF in Sudan
- Support the Leadership of SCOM
- Advise in vision and outreach activities
Mission Ministries and Activities:
- Kanyara, New Sudan is the mission headquarters. All ministry activities are governed and overseen from the mission headquarters by the Regional Director and the SCOM board.
- SCOM’s vision is: “Reaching the Lost at Any Cost”
- SCOM’s motto is: “Serving all that some may be won”
Our activities are foremost to reach the lost and make disciples of all men. Our service to our area consist of:
- Three Chruches in the villiages of Wudabi. Bor and Kanyara
- Evangelism and Crusage Ministrires
- Nursery and primary school in Kanyara, Alpha Primary School
- Medical Clinics in Kaya, Morobo and opening a new medical clinic/hospital in Wudabi
- Kanyara Ministry Training School , training young men to be pastors
- Adult Literacy Programs including education to the soldiers of the area
- Medical transportation as well as serving families in times of death with transport and pastoral care
- Mechanical Workshop and repairs
- Maize Mill in the villiage of Wudabi
- River Blindness Program and Leprosy Program
- Coffee Plantation
- The mission presently has over 20 full time staff and workers
What You Can Do: We welcome short term mission outreach to our mission. This gives you an opportunity to touch the culture of this people group as well as sow into a harvest field that is in such need of New Life and Hope. Sudan was in war for over 20 years. A peace treaty signed three years ago has release a spirit of hope and rebuilding. There is an open door for the gospel and we invite many to come for a short term visit of ministry and service. Prayer: The opening of Wudabi Medical Center :
Our schedule for opening the Wudabi Medical Center is in the next three months. We are praying for the right staffing. Also we need to be able to pump water from the rivers to the clinic as well as a generation system to provide electricity to operate the equipment.
Financial Support: Our personal support is provided by GHCC. Our Mission Minstry Budget is $7,000 a month. We believe God each month for this budget amount and would invite anyone desiring to make a monthly commitment to the mission to please do so.
