MOPS – Begins September 16th
MOPS provides a welcome break—to make new friends and know that you are not the only mom experiencing the struggles and joys of raising young children.
MOPS is a support group for moms who are pregnant or with children from birth to six years of age, focusing on the unique needs of women in this phase of life.
Our mission is to promote personal growth in all areas of life. At MOPS we strive to encourage, equip, and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother, and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.
What results is a feeling of authentic community. Come experience warmth and shared wisdom from other moms, not all the same age, lifestyles or backgrounds, but all with a shared desire to be the best mothers they can be.
A typical morning might look something like this:
9:15-9:30 Drop kiddos off at their MOPPETS class & Mom Check-in
9:30-10:15 Refreshments (aka yummy breakfast all to yourself!)
10-10:15 Announcements
10:15-10:45 Speaker (relevant to mothering/being a woman/ being a wife)
10:45-11:00 Small Group Discussion (uninterrupted conversation)
11:00-11:30 Craft/Activity Time (a time dedicated so you can complete a task)
You need to register to be a part of this group. The MOPS International dues of $23.95 is paid annually when your membership application is received (must be paid at or before the first meeting in September). We will register you online to receive your MOPS International member benefits. GHCC MOPS dues of $15.00 is paid per semester (must be paid at first meeting in September and first meeting in January) or all at once in September. This covers your registration materials, childcare, MOPPETS activities for your children, your craft fees and more. As a result, no refunds will be given after the first attended meeting.

Our meetings are every 1st and 3rd Friday from 9:30-11:30 am September through May.
What about the kids??
The MOPPETS program is designed to specifically care for the needs of children from birth to six years* of age. The purpose of the ministry is to provide a safe and stimulating environment for each child while their moms participate in the MOPS program.
* Homeschoolers are welcome!
