Hand In Hand Preschool
Our Highest priority is teaching children through the example of the Word of God, to love the Lord God with all their heart, soul and strength, and to love their neighbor as themselves.
God has put this preschool on our hearts because of our love for children and our joy in seeing His purpose and vision begin to take shape in their lives. We hope that both parents and children would consider this a place of love and acceptance where laughter and play are cherished. The children will learn about God along with the world around them. This will be a place where children’s prayers are lifted up and given a warm response and where the respect of parents, as the most significant providers of care and love for their children, is acknowledged.
Our goal is for this preschool program to stretch beyond the walls of this facility to support and encourage whole families. We lift up this preschool to God and give him all the praise and glory for this opportunity.
Program Focus
Through the Word of God we will explore and learn about our great big world that God has given us. Our daily reading comes directly out of the Growing Readers Phonics Bible. All weekly explorations will focus around that reading. Our exploring adventures will take us into the alphabet, the world of numbers, shapes and colors, literature, music and praise, community awareness, and social skills. On our explorations the children will also strengthen both small motor and large motor skills. Each new letter introduced will be reinforced by Read It, Eat It, Draw It, Write It, Play It, and Make It activities.
By holding these explorations in a classroom setting, the children will have an understanding of how a classroom works and be able to easily transfer into a larger Kindergarten classroom. The children will also have an opportunity for building social skills in our play time with the kitchen, blocks, animals, miscellaneous toys and book corner. All activities and instruction will be surrounded by the fact that each child is deeply loved by God, and that God has a purpose and plan for their lives.
By learning more about the world around them, God can begin to develop the necessary skills for them to embark on the adventure He has planned for them.
