Who we are…
GHCC Kid’s Ministry offers age appropriate classes and activities for children from birth—6th grade.
Our vision at GHCC is to create a safe and exciting environment that kids and parents love. Our ministry team is dedicated to teach, support and mentor each child. Classes are designed to teach God’s truths with age appropriate curriculum and activities. We incorporate crafts, drama, puppets, multi-media, games, praise and worship, and ministry time. All teaching is grounded in the Word of God and is communicated in a fun and practical way. Children will learn that God made them, God loves them, and that He has an amazing plan for their lives. Our heart is that all children at GHCC will know and follow Jesus Christ with all their hearts.

Class & Locations…
Classes are located in two areas of the building. Birth – Young Preschool
classrooms are located in the Children’s Wing just beyond the coffee shop. For the older 4 year olds – 6th grade the classes are located behind the main building in our Children’s Annex. Please ask an usher or greeter if you need assistance.
Nursery Corner (Birth – Crawlers)
1st Service: All children birth – two years gather in Toddler Station.
2nd Service: Nursery Corner is open at the beginning of the service.
Toddler Station (Walking – 1 years)
Little Buddies (2 – 3 years)
Preschool Place (4 – Kindergarten)
GHCC Kids (6 years – 6th Grade)
Elementary Kids stay in the worship
service and are dismissed to class before announcements.
FAQ…
For Birth through Kindergarten
When can I check my child in to his/her classroom?
Our classrooms open 15 minutes prior to the start of each service. Many parents enjoy praise and worship with their children during the beginning of the adult service. Children are also dismissed to class following praise and worship.
What should I bring?
We ask that you bring a diaper and a bottle (if needed) for your baby when you bring them to the classroom. We provide snacks in our toddler and preschool classrooms.
What if my child needs me during the service?
Each child is assigned a call number. If your child needs you, we will display the number in the sanctuary on the monitor. It is located to the left of the main platform near the ceiling. Please return to the classroom immediately if you see your child’s number displayed.
What about Guests?
All children who are visiting can sign in at their age appropriate classroom. Visitors receive a temporary visitor call number and card to ensure the teacher can call you if needed. Also the cards are used to make sure your child is checked out safely.
What about sick children?
To keep our classrooms safe and healthy, children who are sick should not be placed in class until they are feeling better and are no longer contagious.
Where should I nurse my baby?
Mothers are welcome to use the Nursing
Mothers’ Room located in the northwest corner of the sanctuary or the Nursery.
