<p>Past Hope Actions</p>
<p>Please read this prayer daily over you life, your family, our community and so forth.</p>
<p>Dear Heavenly Father,</p>
<p>I dedicate myself to You this day.  Convict me of anything in my thoughts, words or actions that have been displeasing to You.  I ask for cleansing from all sin according to Your Word that promises that if I confess my sin, then you will be faithful to forgive me and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness.</p>
<p>I am a child of the living God and a joint heir with Jesus Christ.  I am a new creation in Jesus, old things have passed away.  I refuse discouragement because it is not of God.  God is the God of all encouragement.  I do not listen to Satan’s accusations for he is a liar, the father of lies.  I choose to believe what God says about me in His Word.</p>
<p>Sin does not have dominion over me!  I am an over comer because of the blood of Jesus and because of the word of my testimony.  No weapon that is formed against me will prosper.  My mind is renewed by the Word of God.  I cast down imaginations and every thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ.  I bring every thought captive into obedience to the truth.</p>
<p>Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  Nothing can separate me from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus my Lord.  I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.  I know the truth and the truth sets me free, therefore; I am absolutely free!</p>
<p>I submit to God and resist the devil.  The enemy flees from me in terror because the Lord lives mightily in me.  I give no place to fear in my life.  God has not given me a spirit of fear but of love, of power and a sound mind.  The Lord is the strength of my life and He always causes me to triumph in Christ Jesus.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>In Christ, I am the head and not the tail.  I am above and not beneath.  I am seated with Christ in the heavenly places far above all principalities and powers.  I have been given power over all the tricks and traps of the enemy.  No longer will the enemy oppress me.  I am more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens me.</p>
<p>In Christ I am filled with and have access to the same glory the Father gave to His Son.  Jesus is a shield to me each and every day.  He is the glory and the lifter of my head.  Jesus lives powerfully in me because I open up the gates of my heart and life to Him.</p>
<p>In Christ I show no defect but function in intelligence in every branch of wisdom.   I arise and shine, for my light has come and the glory of the Lord surrounds me.  As for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.  I have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ.  My family, my home, my marriage, and my children are blessed, and all that I put my hands to do.  I am blessed coming in and I am blessed going out.  His banner is love over our home.</p>
<p>In Christ Jesus, I am favored by my heavenly Father.  The favor He has given His Son has been given to me.  This is undeserved, unmerited favor that is granted me in Christ.  As Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men, so also do I, because I abide in Jesus and He abides in me.</p>
<p>Now use me for your glory.  Help me to share Jesus with someone today.</p>
<p>Amen.</p>

A graduate of Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois and Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Kansas, Jim has founded and led churches in Kansas, West Virginia, and Texas.  For eleven years, he was professor of New Testament Studies at Christ For the Nations Bible Institute in Dallas, Texas.  For several years, he also served as Missions Director at Christ For the Nations which was founded by Gordon and Freda Lindsay. Having ministered in over 40 nations, Jim serves the Body of Christ as a teaching apostle with a passion to see a mature Church and a victorious Kingdom of God in the earth. He resides in the Dallas area with his wife Jean.  They have been married for 49 years.</h5>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Senior Pastor 2012 Annual Report</span></strong></p>
<p>Praise the Lord!  What an amazing year.  I look back and can hardly believe that 2012 is already over.  With great HOPE, Marcy and I expect God to do great things in the next twelve months.</p>
<p>What has been stirring in my spirit is the message of HOPE.  God gave us the name Generational Hope for a reason.  First of all, we are called to deliberately invest and impart in the next generation.  We have a mandate to bless and release a godly inheritance from generation to generation.  Secondly, we are called to bring HOPE to a hopeless and dying world.  I realiz HOPE is the only thing stronger than fear. Therefore, we must be a people that not only talk about hope but walk in the HOPE that is ours IN CHRIST.</p>
<p>Below are some scripture and truths that I will be sharing on Sunday mornings over the next couple of months.</p>
<p>&#8220;We have <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">joy </span></strong>with our <strong>troubles</strong>, because we know that these <strong>troubles</strong> produce <strong>patience</strong>. And <strong>patience</strong> produces <strong>character</strong>, and <strong>character</strong> produces <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">hope</span></strong>. And this <strong>hope</strong> wil <strong>never</strong> <strong>disappoint</strong> us, because God has poured out his love to fill our hearts.”  (Romans 5:3-5 NCV)</p>
<p>“<strong>Now</strong> may the <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">God of hope</span></strong> fill you with <strong>all joy</strong> and <strong>peace</strong> <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">in believing</span></strong>, so that you will <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">abound in hope</span></strong> by the <strong>power of the Holy Spirit</strong>.” (Romans 15:13)</p>
<p><strong>“Every area of your life that does not glisten with hope means you are believing a lie and that area is a stronghold of the devil in your life.”</strong><br />

<p>If I don&#8217;t have hope for my future, it means I am believing a lie!</p>
<p>Many people think that the devil is their main enemy, but the greater need in my life and yours is to not focus on the devil, but what we <strong>are believing</strong>.</p>
<p>The moment we believe truth we get filled <strong>now </strong>by the God of hope and the evidence that we are getting filled by the God of hope is that it affects our joy and our peace. Steve Backlund says<strong>, “Hopelessness is the red light on the dashboard of our lives saying we need to check under the hood and see what we are believing.”</strong>  My hopelessness is a greater enemy to me than the devil.</p>
<p><strong>The highest level of spiritual warfare is to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ.</strong><br />
I must take my own thoughts captive.  I must demolish the lies that are in opposition to God and to truth.</p>
<p><strong>If you have been beaten down to believe that your best days are behind you not in front of you,</strong></p>
<p><strong>            YOU ARE BELIEVING A LIE!!!</strong></p>
<p><strong>Your best days are yet ahead of you!</strong></p>
<p><strong>So what do I do? </strong>Focus on <strong>His promises</strong>, and who I am <strong>IN CHRIST</strong>!</p>
<p><strong>Some of us need to spend a whole season going after lies…</strong> <strong>going after the root</strong> of what is causing me to be <strong>hopeless</strong>, causing me to feel like <strong>I am a victim</strong>, causing me to feel <strong>powerless</strong>, causing me to <strong>not understand</strong> who <strong>I am in Christ</strong> and the <strong>authority I have</strong> in Him.</p>
<p><strong>God has not predestined 2013 to be a bad year</strong>.  God has not said; I am <strong>sick</strong> and <strong>tired</strong> of those people at <strong>GHCC</strong>, so I am just going to punish them this year.</p>
<p>He poured out all of his punishment on Jesus at the cross.</p>
<p>Colossians 3:1 says, “<strong>Since you have been raised to </strong><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">new life</span></strong><strong> </strong><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">IN CHRIST</span></strong><strong>, set your </strong><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">sights on the realities of heaven</span></strong><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">.”</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>Looking from God’s viewpoint and knowing who I am IN CHRIST, gives me a much better perspective!</strong></p>
<p><em>1.  In Christ – I am a new creation! </em>2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">in Christ</span></strong>, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”</p>
<p><em>2.  In Christ – I am created to do good works! </em>Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God&#8217;s workmanship, created <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">in Christ</span></strong> Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”</p>
<p><em>3.  In Christ &#8211; I stand firm! </em>2 Corinthians 1:21 “Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">in Christ</span></strong>.”</p>
<p><em>4.  In Christ – I am free from condemnation! </em>Romans 8:1 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">in Christ </span></strong>Jesus.”</p>
<p><em>5.  In Christ – I am reconciled to God! </em>Ephesians 2:13 “But now <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">in Christ</span></strong> Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.”</p>
<p><em>6.  In Christ – I am a son/daughter of God! </em>Galatians 3:26-27 “You are all sons of God through faith <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">in Christ</span></strong> Jesus, 27for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed<br />
yourselves with Christ.”</p>
<p><em>7.  In Christ – I am free! </em>Galatians 2:4 “This matter arose because some false brothers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">in Christ</span></strong> Jesus and to make us slaves.”</p>
<p>He who the son sets free is free in deed!</p>
<p><em>8.  In Christ &#8211; I always triumph! </em>2 Corinthians 2:14 “But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">in Christ</span></strong> and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him.”</p>
<p><em>9.  In Christ – I am blessed with every spiritual blessing! </em>Ephesians 1:3 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">in Christ</span></strong>.</p>
<p><em>10.  In Christ – I am seated with Him! </em>Ephesians 2:6-7 “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">in Christ</span></strong> Jesus.”</p>
<p><em>11.  In Christ &#8211; We are one as a body of believers! </em>Romans 12: 5 “So <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">in Christ</span></strong> we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”</p>
<p><em>12.  In Christ &#8211; I have grace, faith and love! </em>1 Timothy 1: 14 “The grace of our Lord was poured out on me <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">abundantly</span></strong>, along with the faith and love that are <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">in Christ</span></strong> Jesus.”</p>
<p>13.  <em>In Christ – I am righteous, holy and redeemed! </em>1 Corinthians 1:30 “It is because of him that you are <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">in Christ</span></strong> Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our<br />
righteousness, holiness and redemption.”</p>
<p>14.  <em>In Christ &#8211; I have purpose</em>! Philippians 3:13-14 “Brothers,<br />
I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do:<br />
Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14I press on<br />
toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">in Christ</span></strong> Jesus.”</p>
<p>15.  <em>In Christ &#8211; I have reason to be joyful, prayerful and thankful! </em>1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Be joyful always; 17pray continually; 18give thanks in all circumstances, for this is<br />
God&#8217;s will for you <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">in Christ</span></strong> Jesus.”</p>
<p>16.  In Christ – I am Victorious! Romans 8: 37”Overwhelming victory is ours <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">through Christ</span></strong>, who loves us.”</p>
<p>The key is what Hebrews 12:1, 2 tells us to do.<br />
“Let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us. <sup>2</sup> We do this by keeping our <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">eyes </span></strong>on <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Jesus</span></strong>, on whom our faith depends from start to finish.”</p>

Jesus can turn&#8230;<br />
A mess into a message,<br />
A test into a testimony,<br />
A trial into a triumph,<br />
A victim into a victory!</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Women’s Ministry 2012 Annual Report</span></strong></p>
<p>2012 was an amazing year for the ladies at GHCC, from the women&#8217;s retreat, to the Christmas party and everything in between.</p>
<p>I loved learning all of the principles we discovered in, &#8220;What to do on the worst day of your life.&#8221;  It made such a difference in my life as well as many of yours.  My eyes have been opened to see life and people with a different perspective.  It reminds me of the scripture that says, &#8220;When times are good be happy, when times are bad consider, God has made one as well as the other.&#8221; Regardless of the situations that may occur in life, God is working it all for our good.</p>
<p>I am grateful to go into 2013 knowing God has graciously given us another year to live, let alone another day and hour.   I want us ladies to walk out our days carrying God&#8217;s presenc wherever we go, choosing to set our heart on the things above.  I want Him to dominate the places our feet touch with His presence, so when others see us, they see God!  Remember, when everything around you seems to be crumbling, hurting and causing you to worry, our God is faithful and will be with you through it all.  It may not be the way you thought, but be<br />
patient, He will work it out!</p>
<p>You are all beautiful women with so much love, passion and hunger for God.  When someone needs a helping hand, you are ready, able and willing to meet the need. I&#8217;m excited to see new faces come along and get involved in areas of women&#8217;s ministry. I believe the &#8220;Reclaimed Conference&#8221; is going to be awesome and only a glimpse of what&#8217;s to come. Like Pastor Ed says, &#8220;Team work makes the dream work!&#8221;</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Children’s Ministry Annual Report 2012</span></strong></p>
<p>We love to see God move in the hearts of the children at GHCC.  We desire to see them make a personal decision to serve, trust, and love Him every day. We know that children can make the decision to follow Jesus Christ and never depart from Him. How Amazing!</p>
<p>Our core teaching this year has been to “TRUST IN GOD”. It’s wonderful to know that no matter <em>who you are, how you feel, what people do, what happens to you, or where you are,</em> you can “TRUST IN GOD”.</p>
<p>We are excited to discover the character of God together with the kids of GHCC in 2013. We are ready for another life changing adventure in God’s Kingdom where; Kids Stand Strong for God!</p>
<p>Thank you GHCC for investing in the next generation. We are so blessed by our leadership, teachers, and volunteers and the faithfulness of GHCC. It is because of you that we are able to release the love and hope of God to our children.</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Coffee Cart Ministry Annual Report 2012</span></strong></p>
<p>Wow what a year.  We executed our plan for 2012 &#8220;keep it simple&#8221; and were delighted to receive a full remodel headed up by Peggy Sue and Kerrianne.   We wanted to be able to serve our church body quickly and efficiently.  With our new design we have been able to increase the number of church members and guests we can make drinks for.  Our team gives a big &#8220;THANK YOU” back for our new cart!</p>
<p>We now serve before first service and between services and have never been busier.</p>
<p>Thank you to the entire Coffee Cart team for their dedication to serving coffee and refreshments each Sunday throughout the last year.</p>
<p>Joshua and Maya Mclean joined their parents this year to make it a family team.</p>
<p>Our newest member is Jamie Rowley who joined her Grandparents this year and is a great asset to their team.</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">First Impressions Ministry (Usher and Greeter Ministry) Annual Report 2012</span></strong></p>
<p>“Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing, some people have shown hospitality to angels<br />
without knowing it.” Hebrews 13:1-2 (TNIV)</p>
<p>Midway through this last year I was given the honor and the privilege of overseeing our First Impressions ministry, which includes both greeters and ushers. Just<br />
as a pillar bears the weight of a mighty roof, the First Impressions ministry is an essential part of the vision and construct of Generational Hope. As God<br />
directs His people to our church, First Impressions has acted as a visual representation of Christ in the life of those at GHCC. Our greeters and ushers<br />
have reached out and made an impact upon these people by use of the most powerful tools: relationship, love, and fellowship. As such, we have seen the<br />
full fruit of the First Impressionist’s labors in the lives of our new families and attendees.</p>
<p>With this in mind, I hope to see the ministry step into its full calling over this next year! By taking time to conduct quarterly meetings we have been able to instill<br />
a level of ownership in all of those that serve, and we have been able to develop new ways of reaching out to people. The ministry has become, and will<br />
continue to be, less than a simple “Hello” at the door. First Impressions will create a place where people are comfortable, welcome, and ready to receive all<br />
that God has to offer them as His children! Although we are still in a place of growth we strive to fulfill this vision as we love people to Christ. Ultimately<br />
we will walk out the motto: “Each One, Reach One.”</p>
<p>In closing, I would like to offer my most sincere gratitude to all involved in the First Impressions ministry. It is through their commitment to the team that we have<br />
seen the ministry carry on and flourish! They have jumped leaps and bounds beyond the call of duty and have been a concrete example of true leaders and<br />
Disciples of Christ.</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Generational Leadership Annual Report 2012</span></strong></p>
<p>I was watching a show on TV just a couple of weeks ago that asked the question: what has happened to religion in our Nation? Is it relevant anymore?  That<br />
statement, sounded frightening.  45 million people have nothing to do with the church, a figure which has doubled since 1990.  One out of every three young<br />
people said they are “turned off by organized religion”, feeling that the church is NOT culturally relevant on issues like gay rights and abortion.  Questions like: “How can a loving God, throw anyone into hell”, are not being answered. Now I’m watching as our Nation asks what we do about all the killings in our schools.  The Oregon Mall shooter,<br />
just before he pulled the trigger, screamed out “I am the shooter”.  That should be a hint!  Value, worth and identity are being stolen from the hearts of our youth.  Does GHCC<br />
have a part to play?  What do we do?   The answer is quite simple, “we double down”.  That’s a gambling term that means “all or nothing”.  We pray, invest and get more involved than we ever have before. Isaiah 59:19 tells us what God will do, “When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD <em><span style="text-decoration: underline">shall lift </span></em><em><span style="text-decoration: underline">up</span></em><em></em><em><span style="text-decoration: underline">a</span></em><em></em><em><span style="text-decoration: underline">standard</span></em><em><span style="text-decoration: underline"> against him</span></em> “Now it’s our turn.  Generational Leadership is a cutting edge ministry of hope for the 21 century.  We are not just telling bible stories.  We are impacting the heart, answering the questions and speaking “you are our beloved sons and daughters, in whom we are well pleased”.  Generational Leadership celebrates 20 years of ministry next year. Has it been worth it?  Just a couple of weeks ago, a member of the congregation, with tears in her eyes, pointed out that the platform was filled with musicians, singers, dancers, and Pastor Justin speaking and all were graduates of G.L.  Is the next 20 years going to be beyond our expectations?  “Sure is!  Reformers are in our midst;” thanks to Jesus, all of the GHCC family, to a great staff and interns that continually give to<br />
the dream and the vision and that “does not cast off restraint.”</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Hand in Hand Preschool Annual Report 2012</span></strong></p>
<p>&#8220;Lord, let those hands be your hands that teach that child, Lord, let those hands be your hands that direct that child to do the right thing, Lord, let those hands be your hands that love that child.&#8221; -Katherine McGuire</p>
<p>Hand in Hand Preschool is an outreach ministry of Generational Hope Christian Center to our community. Katherine McGuire is our lead teacher and she is currently enrolled in online<br />
classes for her Child Development associates. Heidi Acker helps assist Katherine in the classroom and finds fulfillment making individual connections with students and families. The curriculums are Christian based and this year we have added a third curriculum to the preschool. The curriculum is modified to teach the children of different ages while also allowing them to learn the same concepts. There are twenty one students and twelve who attend GHCC. Three of the students from the community who didn’t have a home church now<br />
attend GHCC.  We are excited and blessed that the preschool enrollments have increased the last three years and look forward to continued growth.</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Intercessory Prayer Ministry Annual Report 2012</span></strong></p>
<p>The year of 2012 is now past and looking back we see there has been a <strong>continuance of the progression that the Lord is working in the church, His body. The Lord is speaking two words for 2013, faith and fellowship. </strong>Faith has two words evidence and substance, evidence of things not seen and substance of things hoped for. (Hebrews 11:1) The other word is fellowship. Relationship is the most important to the Lord and he wants it to be the most important to us. Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and<br />
love your neighbor as yourself. (Deut. 6:5-8, Matthew 22:37-39) He emphasized this when he said the least that you do unto my brethren you have done unto me.<br />
(Matthew 25:34-40) This year the Lord was saying he wants to develop this in us and for us to live in the true substance and evidence of his kingdom. That, as the world falls apart and fear sets in, we will be living in a kingdom that is eternal and the temporal of this world will not pull us into it, but the eternal will pull us up into him. We need not fear but perfect love casts out fear(1 John 4:18) and the Lord said when we see all these things coming to pass look up and rejoice, for the kingdom of God is at hand. (Luke 21:28-31) This is<br />
the area we sense the Lord wants us to pray about throughout 2013.</p>
<p>Our thoughts control our destiny. <strong><em>Think on (meditate on) the word of God in 2013!</em></strong></p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Life Group Ministry Annual Report 2012</span></strong></p>
<p>WOW!! 2012 has come and gone, and had so many wonderful things for us at GHCC!! It was a great year for our Life Group Ministry. GHCC continues to see a variety of<br />
groups, teachings and classes happen that are strengthening relationships, families and lives. It is fun to see all of the groups meeting throughout the week, and knowing that great things are happening! I know that our homes, our local coffee shops, and community are blessed by what God is doing through our groups.</p>
<p>I would like to thank all of our Life group facilitators for your support, and willingness to be available in serving our body, and allowing God to use you.</p>
<p>Looking to 2013, my desire is to continue to see real “community” take place amongst us. I long to see these groups grow in numbers, and in impact on people.  My desire is to see every person that attends GHCC to be actively involved in a life group, where they will experience true fellowship and freedom.</p>
<p>It is an honor and a joy for us to serve GHCC, and see God’s dreams come alive in this region!!</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Men’s Ministry Annual Report-2012</span></strong></p>
<p>The year started out with a great Father/Daughter banquet where both Generational Leadership and the men of the church planned and partnered in the ministry.</p>
<p>We are grateful for Pastor Tom’s keynote address to the dad’s and the daughters and I am sure we will all try to be better dad’s so our daughters have an example<br />
with which they can compare and evaluate the young men who desire to establish relationships with our daughters. We can all improve here.</p>
<p>Thank you Kelsey Lynne Blome for the joyful MC character you always are. We thank the photo team of Josiah Reimers and Michelle Jensen who provide the memory and of<br />
course Kathy Longmire at Lifetime Events Catering for the yummy dinner. The tower of cupcakes and the photos of the dads before they were dads added some<br />
fun to a great night. Thanks young men, music and sound, set up and take down crew and Pastor Justin for all you did to make the event the best ever.</p>
<p>Several men’s breakfasts occurred and the fellowship and words were worth the sacrifice of Saturday mornings. Pastor Justin, Pastor Ryan and I were among those who<br />
delivered encouragements.</p>
<p>We ended the fall season with a men’s retreat where over 65 guys showed up for food, fun, fellowship and firearms, Round 3!!!!!!!!!! What a great shoot out and the best<br />
trap shooter was Steve Hardebeck. But Mason Morrissey took the hand gun TOPSHOT contest away from Dain Carley at the last possible moment. Nice!</p>
<p>Pastor Lon Stokes spoke about how God often uses men who have been wounded to accomplish great things and we all carry some sort of wound from our past.</p>
<p>But what I most remember from his great words was “do what you can, with what you have, where you’re at”. That about sums it up for sharing, caring, and helping,<br />
encouraging, providing and ministering, in my book. I hope it works for all of you as well.</p>
<p>We look forward to a great year ahead, and that golf tournament is getting closer.</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">MOPS 2012-2013 Annual Report</span></strong></p>

<p>Our MOPS Vision for<br />
2012-2013 is &#8220;A Virtuous Woman&#8230;Who Can One Find&#8221; Proverbs 31 is our<br />
theme verse this year. Thus far I love the depth and response from our mom&#8217;s!<br />
We had (on average) 17 woman in MOPS each week with 38 children in MOPPETS!!!<br />
Our first meeting of the month consists of a guest speaker coming to share on a<br />
specific verse/topic that has transformed their lives. Thus far we have had<br />
someone speak on Motherhood, Faith, and Caring for the orphans&#8230;trusting God<br />
with his plans for our lives and families and &#8220;smiling at our<br />
future.&#8221; We have a time of prayer, question/answer and encouragement at<br />
the end of each meeting and it has been wonderful to see individual woman<br />
respond to the Word as well as see the ladies come together in support for<br />
those difficult times in one another&#8217;s lives! Our second Meeting of the month<br />
we have a time of building relationship together as well as do a craft<br />
together! We share a lot of laughter during these meetings! We also have a<br />
Mom&#8217;s Night Out the 2nd Tuesday of each month!!! This has been an awesome time<br />
of deepening relationship as well!</p>

<p>We will continue with our<br />
same vision for 2013! We have already added two more ladies to our group in the<br />
month of January! I am looking forward to seeing Gods plans for growth<br />
spiritually and relationally with our entire group of mom&#8217;s this year!</p>

Arts Ministry 2012 Report</span></strong></em></p>
<p><em>We are so thankful for the heart of worship and praise<br />
here at Generational Hope Christian Center and all the happenings of God’s<br />
greatness in 2012.  When we think about<br />
God’s faithfulness, revelation and love for our generation it is so exciting to<br />
know in all things God’s works for our good and HIS GOODNESS. Because our<br />
generation is so inundated with false hope through entertainment, music and the<br />
media; how can we but not recognize that our existence is made for worship,<br />
praise and creating an atmosphere of God’s glory in our world. This is so<br />
exciting. Every time we gather for corporate times of worship and praise, here<br />
at Generational Hope, there is an overflowing of God’s HOPE in our lifes, that<br />
He is truly our HOPE and we gather together TO CREATE A BIG TO DO ABOUT OUR GOD<br />
and make Him great in our world! This is so amazing.</em></p>
<p><em>Recapping this last year, 2012, what all happened?<br />
Growth in our spiritual life’s, that’s it! In God’s presence there have been no<br />
boundaries or limitations. We pressed for the TRUTH that with God all things<br />
are possible and that there is NO ONE HIGHER OR NO ONE GREATER THAN OUR GOD. We<br />
have and we do live in the absolute answer of TRUTH FOR OUR GENERATION.  From every mountain top or valley low God is<br />
God, seated upon the throne and is the GREAT I AM! Absolutely nothing changes<br />
the absolutes of God! </em></p>
<p><em>Generational Hope we are blessed to live in such a<br />
time of HOPE in the midst of a generation that is being lied to. We get to<br />
announce the greatness of God to our generation with hearts of worship and<br />
praise. Thank you to all our worship leaders, musicians, singers and dancers,<br />
here at GHCC, who walk and lead in God’s greatness. WE ARE SO BLESSED! Also,<br />
that passion that stirs in our son’s and daughter’s to create a place for God’s<br />
presence and truth is so rewarding. Seeing our young ladies celebrate in dance,<br />
our children create in drama and dance, the generations leading the various<br />
ministries of GHCC in worship and all in all declaring God’s love never fails,<br />
never gives up and never runs out on us.<br />
It’s worth saying again WE ARE SO BLESSED! God’s love looks so beautiful<br />
on each and every one!</em></p>
<p><em>HOPE is awakened in us and there is more to come. The<br />
journey is GREAT and GOOD because NO ONE IS LIKE OUR GOD. There is freedom for<br />
each and every person in the midst of HOPE. Let us purpose to sing louder, play<br />
stronger, dance with more freedom, paint more beautifully and recreate all<br />
God’s beautiful glory here in our life’s and world. The one thing that can’t be<br />
taken from us is the way we choose to respond to who God is. The more we know<br />
God the greater will be our celebration of worship and praise!  <strong>Choose<br />
to know God better this next year!</strong></em></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The message we are delivering in our Monday<br />
night meetings is simple and to the point; Jesus is our healer, the giver of<br />
new hearts, and the one who gives us a hope and a future.  The leadership is also communicating that a<br />
person doesn’t need to get cleaned up or get their lives straightened out before<br />
they come to Jesus for help.  The invitation<br />
is this; come to Jesus. He’ll give you a New Heart with new and right desires<br />
and by His grace and mercy, right order soon follows.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>We continue to meet in the sanctuary on<br />
Monday evenings with attendance averaging 35.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>June 2012 was our 3<sup>rd</sup> annual NHHR<br />
Maple Valley retreat held with our founding group Westgate Chapel. Eleven<br />
people from our New Heart team attended, as well as participated, in leading<br />
worship on Sunday and other events throughout the weekend.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>September 2012 was our 3<sup>rd</sup> annual<br />
Ladies Prayer Retreat in Winthrop Washington with Westgate Chapel and other<br />
NHHR ministry leaders.  The Lord really<br />
showed and for a marvelous weekend where HIS agenda was played out.  What an amazing time of refreshing and<br />
resting in the Lord.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>November 2012 New Heart helped to<br />
logistically facilitate the GHCC second annual Community Thanksgiving<br />
Dinner.  What an amazing time of blessing<br />
our community.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>December 2012, New Heart hosted its third<br />
annual Christmas fellowship and gift exchange.<br />
All of the NH families were invited.<br />
We enjoyed a wonderful potluck dinner; everyone shared a word of<br />
Thanksgiving, and gift exchange game.  We<br />
all had such a great time.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Throughout the year of 2012 our focus at New<br />
Heart has always been clear and consistent;</p>
<p>Col 3:1-4 Since you’ve repented of your sins<br />
and given the leadership of your life over to Christ, stop focusing on how far<br />
you’ve fallen away from him, and focus on how near He is to you. When we focus<br />
on Christ, He becomes our life.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The New Heart team has seen genuine healing<br />
and recovery take place in many of the attendee’s lives in the array of life<br />
controlling issues.  Freedom is theirs.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The focus of this ministry has not been about<br />
trying to recover from drugs or alcohol, but rather focusing on rebuilding and<br />
strengthening a relationship with God, the healer and the giver of new hearts<br />
and right desires.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>We rallied together with an amazing<br />
leadership team, being led by God’s Holy Spirit. We pray, as we enter into the<br />
year of 2012, to take a closer look and walk in the shoes of the one who laid<br />
down His life for our freedom from of sin.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The theme for 2012 comes from the writings of<br />
Paul in Romans 1:11, 12. “For I long to visit you so I can bring you some kind<br />
of spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord.  When we get together, I want to encourage you<br />
in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours”.</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Primetimers 2012<br />
Annual Report</span></strong></p>
<p>Primetimers are a group of seniors/retirees 60 plus years of age who meet on a<br />
monthly basis for the primary purpose of FELLOWSHIP.  We regularly meet at<br />
noon on the third Friday of the month in the Annex for a &#8220;pot<br />
blessing.&#8221;  Several times a year we meet at a restaurant (Super<br />
Buffet) or a member’s home.  Except for our annual Christmas party we<br />
normally have a speaker (usually from outside the church) share their personal<br />
testimony or if they are involved in ministry, what the Lord is doing in their<br />
ministry.</p>
<p>During the summer we suspended our meetings.  At September&#8217;s<br />
meeting, instead of a speaker, we all shared about our summer activities,<br />
etc.  We ended the year with what is becoming a Primetimer&#8217;s tradition and<br />
something we all look forward to &#8211; a wonderful Christmas party at the<br />
Gera&#8217;s.  In 2012, God brought us many wonderful speakers who shared some<br />
GREAT testimonies.</p>
<p>During the spring, GHCC Primetimers coordinated the Lifeline Screening event<br />
for the Maple Valley community.</p>

Multi-Media Annual Report 2012</span></strong></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>This<br />
has been a great year for the Sound ministry of GHCC. A year of Growth for<br />
sure!!  I would like to say thanks’ to<br />
the many volunteers that have helped make this ministry happen! The biggest<br />
highlight for me was to see so many people this year have a desire to learn,<br />
use their gifts, and creativity help make this ministry great. So thank you!</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Over<br />
this last year Keith Drury has taken oversight and ownership into this<br />
ministry. His passion for multi-media, audio, and the Lord has shown and<br />
blessed so many of us.  This last year we<br />
have been able to release him into serving this ministry further by hiring him<br />
on a part time basis. It has been exciting to see his passions come alive, and<br />
bring assistance to so many of our ministries.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Some of our “other” highlights …</p>
<ul>
<li>We have a new stage!!  Thanks to so many peoples hard work, and<br />
vision we were able to successfully build a stage that complements what we<br />
want to do here technically at GHCC.<br />
Our stage is complete with in stage wiring, stage lighting, and<br />
allows us to be flexible with so many different ministries’ needs.</li>
<li>GHCC was able to invest in some<br />
new gear this year that has helped us stay current, and excellent. Some of<br />
our gear was, new projectors, a complete travel sound system for our tent<br />
services, retreats, and camps, and a new PC, just to name a few.</li>
<li> I continue to be amazed by the quality<br />
and creativity of our Video Announcements! Sean Walker and his team have<br />
been able to create, capture and communicate GHCC’s happenings in a<br />
wonderful way. Thank you again!</li>

<p>In<br />
regards to 2013 we as a ministry are looking to continue to improve and<br />
strengthen what has already been established. With the new gear, stage, and<br />
someone to give it the attention that is needed, our first priority is to build<br />
a solid team to enhance GHCC’s vision over audio and media. As well as the<br />
growth GHCC is undergoing and the expansion of many other ministries a greater<br />
need is being placed upon the media department. Therefore many individuals have<br />
begun to be trained and prepared to handle this growth.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Another<br />
priority of ours is the enhancement of our new gear. As we are quickly becoming<br />
acquainted with the new stage, projectors, and overall gear we are learning how<br />
to more efficiently and productively meet the needs of GHCC; from uploading<br />
greater quality sermons to cleaner and clearer sounding services.</p>

Young Adults Ministry 2012 Annual Report</span></strong></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>2012 was another exciting year for 29eleven<br />
Young Adults. There has been a lot of change and transition this past year with<br />
the 29eleven leadership team, with various key players having children and<br />
getting married, thus needing to take sabbaticals<strong>. </strong>However, even in the midst of change, 2012 was a good year,<br />
especially with Pastor Ryan taking over the Youth Ministry. Steven and Ryan<br />
both value the importance of aligning the generations and have worked closely<br />
this year to host several youth/young adult joint services called ONE<br />
Generation and various fun nights. We believe that the young adults of GHCC<br />
should be heroes to the youth of GHCC and should set the example of what it<br />
means to unashamedly follow Jesus. We also believe the youth hold great value<br />
for our young adults to learn lessons of what it means to give their life away<br />
and mentor others. Another highlight in 2012 was our Annual Young Adult Retreat<br />
in August at Lake Roosevelt. We had several new people, some who were non-believers,<br />
experience for the first time getting out in God’s creation for a few days,<br />
having fun, building stronger friendships and receiving encouragement in their<br />
walks with Christ.  Steven was the<br />
speaker this year and his message focused on Desiring the Presence of God. He<br />
shared from his heart in very practical ways why it’s so vital that the<br />
presence of God is something we recognize as crucial and essential to our<br />
success on our Christian journey. In 2013, we expect to continue the momentum<br />
of partnering with the youth, building relationships and impacting our<br />
community practically with the love of Christ. Our heart’s desire is to follow<br />
God wherever he leads, to obey his voice, to trust him when he closes doors and<br />
also to walk through the doors he opens. We are extremely grateful to the<br />
various individuals who have been a part of our 29eleven leadership team and<br />
for those who have recently stepped up in the past year to serve. We also want<br />
to specifically thank Steve Stratton who has been our worship leader for many<br />
years and has faithfully served our young adults with his heart to honor God<br />
through worship. We could not do what we do without you.  Here is to a great 2013!</p>

<p>Hello,<br />
Generational Hope!</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>It<br />
has been a wonderful year in the life of the youth ministry.  I feel that the highlight of this year could<br />
be summed up with the word relationship.<br />
I have seen the relationships between the students strengthened as well<br />
as the relationship between the students and myself.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>We<br />
were able to hold our first summer camp at Camp Delaney last August.  It was an incredible week!  God touched all of the students and<br />
staff.  The staff and I noticed a huge<br />
shift in the unity of the youth group.<br />
So many of the kids bonded together during camp, it was an invaluable<br />
experience.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>We<br />
were able to take part in our first Maple Valley area youth event.  We came together in September for the annual<br />
“See You at the Pole Rally” at Maple Valley Presbyterian Church.  It was great to see the kids recognize<br />
classmates from other groups as we celebrated standing for Jesus and holding up<br />
our schools in prayer that morning.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>I<br />
believe one of the most impacting message series this year has been around the<br />
subject of relationships.  Alycia and I<br />
made a point at the start of our courtship, to keep our progress, and what we<br />
are learning through it, in front of the youth group.  Along with our testimony, we completed a<br />
series on what healthy relationships between guys and girls looks like and also<br />
had the privilege of having Carrie Abbott, founder of The Legacy Institute, and<br />
come to share her wisdom on the subject.<br />
The response from the youth in the area of relationships has been very<br />
encouraging.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>I’m<br />
excited to begin some other dreams in the youth ministry in the coming year,<br />
including a class on the Christian Worldview.<br />
I believe it is important for all Christians, young and old, to have a<br />
firm grasp on why they believe what they believe.  I am confident that this class will give our<br />
youth the information and wisdom they need to be able to stand confidently for<br />
Jesus in every arena of life.</p>

students!  I love you and am expectant<br />
for another year of Jesus performing miracles in the hearts of young people.</p>
