GHCC Life Groups are gearing up for the fall. If you currently lead a group or would like to start a new group please contact Pastor Justin Garland Justin@generationalhope.org and confirm with him your meeting date & time.
The Life group Ministry at GHCC serves to fulfill the Vision and Mission of the church. Our main purpose is to see each person Reached, Related to, Restored and Released into further ministry. Our Life Groups are a place where that can happen on a personal level.
Our groups often vary in certain ways from one another, and often express their own individual characteristics specific to that group. Even with their own differences, the core purpose of our groups remains the same. Typically our groups either meet in a home, or another designated meeting area, they meet on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, etc…), and typically last around 2 hours. Some of our groups meet around food and others meet in a class setting.
There are two distinct types of groups to lead and/or attend. The first is a more of a series based group that typically revolves around a certain teaching or curriculum. These usually range from 6-13 weeks. The second type of group usually meets year round or on an ongoing basis, whose focus may change from time to time based on that groups decision.
GHCC Life Groups provide a great opportunity to get plugged into the life of the church. They are also a great place to begin taking personal ownership at GHCC, by leading a Life Group and imparting into people’s lives. For information on how to start a life group please contact the Church Office or Pastor Justin Garland.
